to be considered for induction into the
Jamesville-DeWitt Fine Arts Hall of Fame
Definitions
Fine Arts includes (but is not limited to) these and other art forms:music, theater, dance, literature,
architecture, visual and graphic arts.
Categories and Eligibility
1. Alumni – Beginning 10 years after their class graduation
(Example > To be considered for 2021, alumni must have graduated by Jul 1, 2011, or before)
(Some special circumstances may allow for the ten-year requirement to be waived.)
Candidates are considered based on any combination of accomplishments during their time as J-D students and afterward. (Accomplishments may include artistic excellence, and contributions to their community.)
2. Ensembles, Musicals, and Plays – Beginning ten years after the given academic year
3. Educators – Beginning five years after leaving the district – including teachers, administrators, and staff
members employed by Jamesville-De Witt Central Schools
4. Contributors who donated their time or resources to Fine Arts students, staff, programs,
or productions of J-D Central Schools
How To Submit
– Give name, and class year (if alumni or ensemble)
– Include supporting information: (biography, description of their accomplishments, contributions)
– We must be able to contact potential nominees. A reliable email address is preferred.
A phone number is okay, provided you have the consent of the individual(s) to share their number
(No physical address, please).
– If submitting an ensemble, musical, or play try to include a yearbook photo
(so we can reach out to as many members as possible.)
